Chair Yoga
This friendly supportive group meets every Wednesday for seated exercise classes with a professional instructor. 10-11am at St Paul's Community centre just £5 per session. Contact us to book a space

Fun Days
​
Looking for a safe, warm, friendly place to go with your baby or toddler? This could be the place for you and your child to make friends and happy memories. Our sessions are now at the slightly earlier times of 9am-11.15am, Tuesdays, at St Paul's Community centre, with plenty of space for toddlers. Just £1 per person (adult or child), no need to book.

Green & Arts Wellbeing Workshop

Hafway
Our motto is 'belong, believe, become'. More than 100 young people engage with HAFWAY each month and with the majority of the young people coming from deprived backgrounds, ethnic minority groups and broken homes we really are making a difference in their lives.

> Youth group & sports sessions
Providing a safe space and activities for young people 11-18yrs, we are currently running sessions on Thursday, Friday and Sunday evenings at St Paul's Community Centre plus Monday evenings at Brownlow Fold MUGA. All session are free and open for young people to pop in, no need to book

> Duke of Edinburgh
The Duke of Edinburgh award is for young people aged 14 and above and is a youth achievement award designed to give young people the opportunity to become the best they can be. HAFWAY support young people through all 3 levels of the award; bronze, silver and gold.

Halliwell Befriending Service
Halliwell Befriending Service aims to provide a visiting, befriending and support service to housebound, isolated, disabled, lonely and mentally frail older people living in the Halliwell area. The offices are based in the community centre. For more information, please ring 01204 840808, or drop into the centre in a morning!

> Activities Club
Run by Halliwell Befriending Service, Table tennis, pool, dominoes, whatever you fancy joining in with. Fortnightly on a Monday 12.30-2.30pm, running the alternate week to Lunch Club

> Lunch club
Share a 2-course lunch with friends, raffle and a game of bingo. Meets weekly on Mondays, 11.30am-1.30pm in the Community Centre. Contact HBS to enquire about spaces.

> Crafters friendship club
Tuesdays 1-3pm in the Community Centre. Sewing, knitting, cardmaking, lace making, adult colouring books and more! A safe and warm place to learn new crafts skills and enjoy expressing your creativity.

> Digital drop-in & Breakfast club
Run by Halliwell Befriending Service, this is an opportunity to have a bit of breakfast and learn digital skills in a warm and friendly environment.
Thursday mornings 10-11.30am in the Community Centre

Kabod Church
Meets in the St Paul's Community centre, Sundays 12-2pm, Visitors welcome.

Line Dancing
A warm and friendly group of dancers, open to newcomers too at St Paul's Community Centre on a Friday morning 10-11am. Just £3 per class, and you can pay as you go.

Saturday Cafe

Slimming Support session
Wednesdays, at St Paul's Community centre, running alongside our Chair Yoga session. Open to all, whether you are staying for the Chair Yoga session, or just popping in. Come and get weighed, but get encouraged in your journey too, chat with others, get tips and meal ideas to help you on your way.

St Paul's Church
St Paul’s Church seeks to serve in the Halliwell Community witnessing to the love of God shown to all in Jesus Christ. Worship is low evangelical with a more contemporary feel at the all age service on the first Sunday of the month. We are a small friendly congregation.
